I was a STAR mentor at my high school. This is a program that was started at my school to help freshmen get caught up in classes. So when they were failing the were sent to STAR mentors to get tutored and to get their grade up. I would like to be a tutor because I like helping people. I feel like I have helped someone when something they don't understand clicks. So tutoring someone will help them understand their homework. I am majoring in Athletic Training at Central Methodist so I am taking classes in Biology and Human Anatomy. I was a State Officer for Missouri TSA (Technology Student Assocation) my senior year in high school. I was also in Girl Scouts for 11 years.
